or oligofructan, is a versatile ingredient found in various cosmetic products. It is an oligosaccharide produced
enzymatically from sugar beets, primarily composed of kestose, nystose, and fructosyl nystose and its primary
functions are as a humectant and a skin-conditioning agent. Fructooligosaccharides help maintain a healthy
microbiome which is the first line of defense against harmful external stressors. It strengthens skins’ immunity and
promotes healthy probiotic bacteria growth. As a humectant, Fructooligosaccharides attract and retain moisture,
