USAGE

Apply Rare Mandelic Serum over clean skin daily and/or nightly.

Ultra-sensitive skin may be able to use 2-3 times weekly. Apply a

sunscreen product to provide a protective barrier.

CAUTION

Do not use on skin that is broken or cracked. This product contains

alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s) that may increase sensitivity to the sun.

Use sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product.

KEY INGREDIENTS

Mandelic Acid (L) (DL): Mandelic Acid (L), chirally correct, is a naturally occurring form of alpha hydroxyl acid (AHA)

and is derived from bitter almonds. It can effectively retexture the skin but is a gentle acid that helps with acne, skin

tone, skin texture, hyperpigmentation, and the effects of aging. Mandelic Acid is a powerful exfoliant that removes

dead skin cells and accelerates cell turnover to help improve texture and complexion problems. It also promotes

collagen production, increases skin elasticity, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. Mandelic Acid works to inhibit

melanin production and lessen hyperpigmentation, dark spots, and discoloration. For acne, this acid helps control

sebum production, unclogs pores and helps reduce acne pitting and scarring. Mandelic Acid has antibacterial and

anti-inflammatory effects, is less irritating on the skin than other acids, and an ideal choice for a wider range of skin

conditions and types looking for an improved appearance with fewer side effects.

Sodium Hyaluronate (L) (Hyaluronic Acid): Sodium Hyaluronate (L) (Hyaluronic Acid), chirally correct, is a naturally

occurring glycosaminoglycan found throughout the body’s connective tissue. It has been proven to moisturize

the skin by attracting moisture in skin cells which reduces dryness and flaking by increasing skin hydration. It can

also provide structure and volume to the skin, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, leaving the skin

plump. Sodium Hyaluronate can also reduce skin inflammation, playing a vital role in wound healing processes

by promoting cell migration and proliferation. It is excellent for treating skin irritation like eczema, psoriasis and

dermatitis stemming from a compromised barrier.

Pinus Cembra Wood (Swiss Stone Pine) Extract: Pinus Cembra Wood (Swiss Stone Pine) Extract is a concentrated

extract of Swiss Stone Pine, called King of the Alps, and contains pinosylvin. This is known to reduce inflammation

through several biological pathways. It calms skin hypersensitivity and reduces local skin redness and color

irregularities resulting from inflammation. It also visibly reduces redness and age spots and creates a more even

toned skin for a youthful radiance. Pinosylvin is also known to have antioxidant, energizing, radiance, and brightening

properties and protects from the effects of environmental stress.

3-O-Ethyl-L-Ascorbic Acid: 3-0 Ethyl Ascorbic Acid (L), chirally correct, is a derivative of Ascorbic Acid with hydrophilic

and lipophilic properties. 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid is a very potent form of Vitamin C and is one of the most stable

forms, enabling it to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin without causing irritation. As a huge antioxidant, it

brightens skin tone, fades hyperpigmentation, decreases melanin formation, protects the skin from oxidative stress,

increases collagen production, and maintains the activity of immune cells in the epidermis. It also is anti-inflammatory,

improves skin elasticity, and helps control trans epidermal water loss.
